Borosilicate glass is a type of glass with silica and boron trioxide as the main constituent of glass forming. Borosilicate glass is known to have a very low thermal expansion coefficient (~ 3 × 10−6 K - 1 at 20 ° C), making it resistant to thermal shocks, more than other ordinary glasses. Such glasses are less subject to thermal pressure and are usually used for making reagent bottles. Borosilicate glass is sold under trade names such as Borcam, Borosil, DURAN, Suprax, Simax, BSA 60, BSC 51 (By NIPRO), Heatex, Endural, Schott, Refmex, Kimble, MG (India) and some (but not all) items sold under different trade names. We also sell various other general laboratory equipment.
